VLC Media Player 200 can be accessed through the Web too. There is a “web” icon on the top right corner of the player interface. Clicking on it will bring up the browser in an instance of the VLC player. Using the “http” protocol you can access albums, videos, and anything on the web or in the media catalog. For example, we can open www.beat.com in the browser through a direct URL.
For an offline experience, you can also use the VLC Media Player 200 plugin for Chrome or Firefox. The plugin is for Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android. You can even create an alias of the plugin on your local machine for easy access to everything and then deselect it when you are finished.
If the download is lengthy the player can be turned off. Tapping on the player icon will change its state into a number of states. Tap on and off will wake it up and restore it to its initial state. Handy. Tap on the play/pause button and it will change the state to “pause”. Tap it again to resume playback.
We can take snapshots of this player too using the image capture feature of the camera. Tap on the camera icon and then on the right tap on the capture button. It will show a dialog box which will give us a choice of image sizes like 640×480 and 1280×960. Select the one you want and it will be saved on the device’s memory. 7211a4ac4a
